# End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Authority Pages ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for the use of the Authority Pages application and services (collectively, the "Service").

### 1.2 Permitted Use
You may use the Service to:
- Create up to six (6) authority articles optimized for AI systems and search engines
- Define your authority voice constraints through the Voice Lock feature
- Validate and select dominant questions for your industry
- Generate schema markup and technical SEO assets
- Export articles for deployment on your own website or platform
### 1.3 Restrictions
You may **not**:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or transfer the Service or generated content to third parties as a service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service to generate content that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorized access
- Circumvent usage limits or technical protection measures
- Use the Service to create content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Automate access to the Service through bots, scrapers, or similar tools without written permission

## 2. Intellectual Property Rights
### 2.1 Service Ownership
The Service, including all software, algorithms, user interface designs, validation logic, and proprietary methodologies, is and remains the exclusive property of Authority Pages. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you.
### 2.2 Generated Content Ownership
**You retain ownership** of the content you generate using the Service, including:
- Authority articles created through the article generation feature
- Questions you define and validate
- Voice lock parameters you specify
- Schema markup and technical SEO assets derived from your content
However, you acknowledge that the **structure, methodology, and validation framework** used to generate this content remain the intellectual property of Authority Pages.
### 2.3 User-Provided Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or input into the Service (including voice guides, reference examples, and question text). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
### 2.4 Watermarking and Attribution
Generated articles may include subtle technical markers (metadata, schema properties) that identify them as created with Authority Pages. These markers do not affect the functionality or appearance of your content and are used solely for IP protection and quality assurance purposes.

## 3. Usage Limits and Fair Use
### 3.1 Article Quota
Your license includes the generation of **six (6) authority articles**. This limit includes:
- Initial article generation
- Regeneration attempts (unlimited within the 6-article quota)
- Articles that pass or fail validation
### 3.2 Fair Use Policy
The Service is designed for legitimate business use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits through technical means
- Generate content in violation of this Agreement
- Engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
- Create excessive load on our systems through automated requests
### 3.3 Rate Limiting
To ensure service quality for all users, we implement rate limiting on API endpoints:
- Article generation: 20 requests per hour
- General API access: 100 requests per 15 minutes
- Authentication attempts: 10 requests per 15 minutes
Exceeding these limits may result in temporary access restrictions.

## 4. Data Privacy and Security
### 4.1 Data Collection

## 5. Payment and Refunds

The Service is offered as a **one-time purchase** of $497 USD. This fee grants you lifetime access to generate six (6) authority articles.
### 5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
### 5.3 Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital services and immediate access to AI-powered content generation, **all sales are final**. We do not offer refunds after purchase.
However, we may provide refunds at our sole discretion in cases of:
- Technical issues preventing service access (if unresolved within 14 days)
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service misrepresentation (provable material differences from advertised features)

### 5.4 No Recurring Charges
This is a **one-time purchase** with no subscription fees, renewal charges, or hidden costs. You will not be billed again unless you purchase additional services in the future.

### 6.3 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect your ability to use the Service.

## 7. Warranties and Disclaimers

### 7.2 No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that content generated through the Service will:
- Rank in search engine results or appear in featured snippets
- Be cited by AI systems (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
- Generate traffic, leads, or revenue for your business
- Pass third-party validation or compliance requirements
The Service provides tools and methodologies designed to optimize content for AI systems, but results depend on many factors outside our control (including content quality, website authority, competition, and algorithm changes).
### 7.3 AI-Generated Content
Content generated by the Service uses AI language models. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before publication
- We are not liable for consequences arising from publication of unverified AI-generated content
- You should not rely on AI-generated content for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice

The Service may include links to third-party websites or reference third-party content. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, and your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

## 8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE ($497 USD).
### 8.2 Excluded Damages
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Damage to reputation or goodwill
- Cost of substitute services
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
### 8.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

- Your account poses a security risk

Upon termination:
- Your license to use the Service is immediately revoked
- You must cease all use of the Service and generated content (unless you have already published it)
- We may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policy
- Sections of this Agreement that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, warranties, liability limitations, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect
### 10.4 No Refund on Termination
Termination of your account for violation of this Agreement does not entitle you to a refund.

## 11. Dispute Resolution
### 11.1 Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
### 11.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith within 30 days.
### 11.3 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through **binding arbitration** administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding.
### 11.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings.
### 11.5 Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or enforce confidentiality obligations.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Authority Pages regarding the Service and supersedes all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
### 12.3 Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
### 12.4 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future.
### 12.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your license to use the Service. We may assign this Agreement to any successor or affiliate without your consent.
### 12.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, or internet service disruptions.
### 12.7 Export Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations. You may not use the Service in countries subject to U.S. trade embargoes or sanctions.
